ABOUT AJDA

Hi, I’m Ajda Murnik, a photographer based in Slovenia. I’ve been drawn to photography since my teenage years, but it was through studying architecture that I began to see space, light, and form in a deepened way.

My nature is to be curious, and explorative, whether that means wandering through cities or discovering more rural areas. Lately, my focus is on how light shifts just before sunset. When warm light hits the facades of buildings and streets start to feel different - softer, more alive, but calm.

I try to keep my work clean and simple, with a focus on composition and the beauty of repetition and forms. Photographing buildings, spaces, or nature, I’m always looking for that subtle tension between structure and atmosphere—where light, shape, and feeling meet.
